Hillary Clinton Has ‘Urge’ To Run Against Donald Trump

Hillary Clinton recently revealed that she has an urge to run against Donald Trump in this year’s presidential elections.

While at the Sundance Film Festival in Utah, Variety asked the ex-FLOTUS if she has the desire to take on the POTUS, and she said yes. Clinton also called the results of the 2016 elections odd.

“Yeah, I certainly feel the urge because I feel the 2016 election was a really odd time and an odd outcome. The more we learn, the more that seems to be the case,” she said.

However, Clinton also made it clear that even if she had the urge to run against Melania Trump’s husband, she won’t do it.

“I’m going to support the people who are running now and do everything I can to help elect the Democratic nominee. I just think we have to win. I don’t think we can afford another four years by the current incumbent,” she said.

Before Clinton and the POTUS ran for president four years ago, they used to be friends. Clinton and her husband, Bill, even attended Trump and Melania’s wedding in 2005.

Photos from the wedding show Bill grabbing Trump’s shoulder. And another photo shows the POTUS wrapping his arms around Clinton. In the same snap, Bill’s arms are wrapped around Melania.

According to journalist Sam Sanders, just looking at the photo made him think that the Trumps and Clintons are best friends.

After the POTUS was named as the new president of the United States, he reportedly called Bill. According to the ex-POTUS, the phone call reminded him of their friendship and closeness from years ago.

However, it was evident that Bill wasn’t pleased over Trump’s win especially since it meant that his wife lost. During his interview with TIME, Bill criticized Trump by saying that he doesn’t know much.

The former president also said that one of the things that the POTUS knows is how to get angry, white men to vote for him. Shortly after, Trump slammed Bill on Twitter by saying that he was the one that called him.
