Kate Middleton Shares Her Quarantine Struggles With George, Charlotte

Kate Middleton just revealed all her struggles while in quarantine with her children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.

During her interview in ITV’s “This Morning,” the Duchess of Cambridge said that it’s been difficult explaining to her two older children what’s been going on in the world.

Middleton is also overseeing her children’s homeschooling and said that Prince George and Princess Charlotte usually get into arguments.

“George gets very upset because he wants to do all of Charlotte’s projects. Making spider sandwiches is far cooler than doing literacy work,” she said.

Prince William’s wife also said that they have been using FaceTime a lot these days since they are self-isolating at Anmer Hall. In the past, they were able to see their relatives regularly.

But because everyone else is also self-isolating in their respective homes, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge just call Queen Elizabeth, Prince Charles, Camilla, and the other members of the royal family using their mobile phones.

“We try and check in daily with family members and speak to them about news and things like that, and in some ways, I suppose we’ve got a lot more face time than perhaps we would have done before, but it is difficult,” she said.

Prince William and Middleton have been very particular when it comes to their loved ones’ safety during the lockdown. In March, a source told Closer Weekly how the royal couple is keeping Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis safe.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge made sure to isolate their kids from the other children at Thomas’s Battersea. And even though Prince George and Princess Charlotte miss their friends, at least they have each other to play with.

According to the source, Prince George and Princess Charlotte also include Prince Louis in their play sessions because he’s much older now.

While at home, Prince George and Princess Charlotte can use their iPads but in a limited capacity. In the past, they weren’t allowed to watch too much TV, but their parents’ rules have become a bit more relaxed.

Meanwhile, Prince George and Princess Charlotte have also been learning the lyrics to the classic wartime anthem “We’ll Meet Again” as part of their school project.

Middleton said that hearing the tune playing almost every day has been wonderful. The doting mom also said that Prince George has a special understanding of the song’s meaning because he’s learning about the Second World War.
