Lady Gaga has reportedly told her friends that she will no longer depend on a guy to help her start a family.
After a series of failed relationships, the “Shallow” singer is considering adoption or surrogacy so that she could have a baby.
An unnamed source told Radar Online that Gaga had an epiphany at the hospital after she fell off the stage in Las Vegas. While seeking treatment, the “A Star Is Born” actress allegedly became a tad bit emotional.
“She has everything she wants in the world, but she’s missing someone to leave her legacy to. She comes from a strong family and that’s always been something she wants,” the source said.
However, the claims of the tabloid should be taken with a grain of salt. Gaga has never said anything about wanting to have kids via adoption or surrogacy.
But she did tell Allure last year that she wants her future kids to have the same relationship with her as she had with her own mother.
“My mom is beautiful from inside out. What a rare thing. I really hope that when I have maybe a little girl one day, or a little boy, and they see mommy put her makeup on, that they have the same experience that I did. That’s the greatest gift of all when you can connect with your parents,” she said.
Months later, the “Poker Face” singer said that she wants to do more movies in the next decade. And she also hopes to have a baby in the coming years.
Meanwhile, Gaga also made headlines recently after she once again debunked the rumors suggesting that she and Bradley Cooper were an item. While speaking with Elle, the award-winning singer called the press “silly.”
Gaga said that she and Cooper simply made a love story when they starred in “A Star Is Born.” As such, their goal was to convince audiences that they were in love even when they are not.
