Louise Redknapp has found herself in the middle of a legal battle with none other than Peppa Pig over copyright issues.
The songwriters behind her 1996 hit ‘Naked’ are now claiming that the children’s cartoon infringed copyright on her song.
The songwriters are alleging that Entertainment One, the producers of Peppa Pig: My First Album, ripped off Louise’s hit in the song Peppa’s Party Time.
According to the Mirror, producer Denis Ingoldsby and the authors have made a settlement and the right credits now appear on the song.
But Louise and her songwriting team could still be in for a huge payout, with a reported £1 million that could be earned in royalties.
This seems to be the last thing on Louise’s mind however as she recently admitted that she still loves her ex-husband Jamie two years after their divorce.
After 19 years of marriage, Jamie and Louise went their separate ways but Louise has opened up about her heartbreak in her new album.
Appearing on Good Morning Britain, Louise revealed that despite splitting from Jamie in 2017, there are days she still feels heartbroken.
Putting all her thoughts and feelings into her new album, Louise said: ‘I wrote this album over a two year period. It’s a very personal album. I never thought I’d do music again.’
‘As a singer, all you can do is write what is in your heart and what you’re going through every day, especially over a two year period, which has been really well documented, you can only write what you are feeling on that day.’
Sometimes it was really empowering, and I’d be having a great day and writing songs about the future moving on and then other days you feel slightly heartbroken and that comes out in your music.’
‘So it’s not a narrative about being a married woman, but of course, it’s just speaking from the heart.’
