Since their decision to step down as senior members of the royal family, fans have been wondering whether Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will give an interview to the press.
Despite multiple reports claiming that Ellen DeGeneres was the first talk show host to book the in-demand royals for a sit-down interview, the rumors are apparently incorrect. Regarding the gossip, a royal source tells BAZAAR.com, "no interviews with anyone have been arranged."
Daily Mail previously shared footage of a member of the paparazzi asking DeGeneres if she would be excited to "maybe" interview Duchess Meghan. The talk show host, who was on the phone at the time, replied, "Sure, I'm excited."
Rather than being confirmation of an arranged interview, it appeared as though DeGeneres was attempting to get rid of the photographer who was following her down the street on foot.
Journalist Tom Bradby, who filmed the Sussexes for the ITV documentary Harry & Meghan: An African Journey, previously wrote in The Sunday Times, "I have some idea of what might be aired in a full, no-holds-barred, sit-down interview and I don’t think it would be pretty."
