Meghan Markle and Prince Harry could “wait another year” to have a second baby after moving to Los Angeles, a royal commentator has claimed.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been hotly tipped to have another child, with bookmakers Coral offering 1-4 odds of Archie having a sister or brother by the end of 2021.
Previously it was claimed that Meghan will be having another child soon as Prince Harry “wants a brother” for the one-year-old.
But one royal expert has now suggested the pair's move to Los Angeles may see them wait to have another baby.
Journalist Erika Abdelatif, who co-hosts the Royal Tea podcast with Marla Black, said on a recent episode: “I kind of think that in another universe, where they were sill royals, they could have had another baby faster.
“But I almost sense that them being in LA, they may slow down and wait another year before they have another baby.”
Erika suggested the pair have more to focus on currently than increasing their family.
The expert added: “I also think it seems like they have a lot of momentum now, with them kicking off their new charity and everything.
“I think they might try to focus on solidifying that and getting that moving before they think about the family.”
It comes after a royal source claimed Harry is missing his old friends in the UK after jetting off to the US with Meghan.
The source told Vanity Fair: “He has a lot of friends in the military community in the UK and of course he misses them.
“This is a very strange time for us all, but I think Harry is missing having a structure to his life right now.”
