Meghan Markle ‘relieved’ after LA return with Harry and has become ‘more Hollywood’

Meghan Markle has portrayed a sense of “relief” after the Royal Family and has become “more Hollywood ”, a body language expert has suggested. The Duchess of Sussex and Prince Harry moved to Los Angeles in the US in April after stepping down as senior royals earlier this year.

While the coronavirus lockdown has put a stop to any public appearances, the pair have been hard at work delivering video messages and taking part in calls with charities and causes close to their heart.

Body language expert Judi James has been analysing Meghan’s traits during lockdown and noticed a slight shift. “Meghan has gone back to what she knows and loves,” she said on the Daily Mirror’s Pod Save The Queen podcast.

“Her body language if anything seems to be a little bit of relief. “She seems to be a lot more comfortable being Meghan. A little bit more actressy and more Hollywood than she was before.

“Obviously, she’s relishing the fact that she will be received probably less critically for everything she does and that she can be very generous in the way she presents herself.”

Meghan and Harry cut ties with the Royal Family in January in a bid to seek financial independence. The Duchess has already made a return to screens with a narrating role on a Disney documentary and have also launched their foundation Archewell.

But one royal expert believes Harry may have “jumped the gun” in leaving the UK.

Russell Myers, the Daily Mirror’s Royal Editor, told New Zealand radio station RNZ: “He was essentially saying he wanted to leave his role, he wanted to go and seek his own financial independence, and he had to step back from all of his military roles and certainly some of his patronages.

“So he may have jumped the gun a little bit and it would seem that Harry has been saying this to his military friends.”

It comes after Daily Star Online revealed how Meghan Markle’s security guards spotted a drone flying above the roof of their current home. Meanwhile, Sophie, Countess of Wessex, has revealed how Meghan may have struggled to adapt to life in the Royal Family.
