Prince Harry is missing his UK pals and "doesn't have friends" in Los Angeles, it has been claimed.
He and Meghan Markle left the UK at the start of this year after stepping down as senior royals.
They have settled in Los Angeles via Canada, and are reportedly staying at a mansion owned by movie producer Tyler Perry.
But according to Vanity Fair, a source claimed he is missing his friends from back home.
The source told the magazine: “He has a lot of friends in the military community in the UK and of course he misses them.
"This is a very strange time for us all, but I think Harry is missing having a structure to his life right now.
"He doesn’t have friends in L.A. like Meghan and he doesn’t have a job. So at the moment he’s a bit rudderless, but it won’t always be like this, and he knows that."
However, his chances of making new friends will have been impaired by the coronavirus lockdown that has forced millions to stay inside.
But it does offer an insight into the social challenges he will face when normality is restored.
The duo have only been spotted on a few occasions in California due to the pandemic.
LA-based photographer Mark Karloff told Daily Star Online that he has spotted them using different cars, leading him to suspect they have done so to avoid the paparazzi.
He told us: "The first one was pretty obvious when they took the dogs for a walk. "The second car, photographers were telling me, as well as pictures I saw, was grey.
"I would think (evading paparazzi), if they have any kind of advisors suggesting anything to them, or they are thinking about it themselves, it's pretty much the logical thing to do I would think. But you need to have two to three cars on hand to push it out.
"That's speculation obviously, but it happens a lot among higher end celebrities."
