Prince William Reportedly ‘Stubborn,’ ‘Resolutely Private’ Because Of Prince Charles

has learned not to repeat the mistakes that Prince Charles made while he was married to Princess Diana.

In the book “William’s Princess,” royal author Robert Jobson said that the Duke of Cambridge has become so stubborn and resolutely private because he is determined to not follow in his dad’s footsteps.

Prince William and Prince Harry agreed that they will marry for the right reason, which is love. And that’s what they both did.

“William is acutely aware of the past. He knows that his position brings with it real difficulties with one’s personal life.  He knows that his father made rather a hash of things and he is determined not to do the same,” Jobson said.

The royal author also said that Prince William is lucky to have the support and guidance of Prince Charles while he was dating Middleton. In fact, the heir to the throne is so supportive that he allowed the Duchess of Cambridge to share a room with Prince William in Highgrove even before they tied the knot.

“Unlike his father, and contrary to the general perception of Charles, William is fortunate to have a parent who is prepared to listen and bend with the times.  He has the loving and sympathetic nature of a man who has suffered,” Jobson explained.

A palace source previously said that Prince Charles is not overbearing when it comes to raising Prince William and Prince Harry because he understands that they went through a lot with the death of Princess Diana.

As such, he has made the conscious effort not to run their lives in the same way that Prince Philip ran his.

Meanwhile, Prince Charles and Prince William reportedly reached out to Prince Harry following his exit. According to The Sunday Times, Prince Charles and Prince William are ready to extend their love and time to their royal couple if they would need them.

A source said that Prince Harry and Markle are a fragile couple, and there’s a possibility that they could ask the royal family to take them in again in the near future.
