As Queen Elizabeth II moves forward following Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's royal exit, she will be reportedly be focusing on something extravagant.
According to Express, Her Majesty is known for her lavish garden parties that include several impressive elements. These events, which are held at the gardens of Buckingham Palace in England or the Palace of Holyroodhouse in Scotland, are a way for the monarch to meet people from various backgrounds.
As stated by the outlet, the attendees are said to be people who have positively impacted their community. This year, more than 30,000 guests are expected to attend.
As for what takes place at these fancy gatherings, over 27,000 cups of tea and 20,000 sandwiches will reportedly be served. Approximately 20,000 slices of cake are also expected to be served. The "daunting job" of preparing the food and drink falls on the royal staff.
On the day of the party, the Palace gates will open at 3 p.m. However, the actual party does not begin until the Queen arrives. Prince Philip may also make an appearance if he feels well enough to do so.
The two will then move throughout the guests in "lanes" so that everyone who goes to the party has a chance to speak with the royals.
The upcoming events follow a tumultuous period of time for the British royal family after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced that they were leaving their senior roles.
After making the announcement on their Sussex Royal Instagram, some royal fans began to speculate that the Queen herself had actually "triggered" them to relocate. It has also been reported that the monarch is planning to "overhaul" Buckingham Palace following Megxit.
As for Prince William and Kate Middleton, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have also remained in the news after Harry and Meghan's exit.
Not only did Kate make a "daring" decision in recent months, but the Duke reportedly has been "making plans," along with Prince Charles, in case the Duke and Duchess of Sussex wish to return to their royal roles.
