Ozzy Osbourne was joined by his wife Sharon on Saturday night for the first time since he confirmed he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s.
The eighties rocker had been keeping a low profile over the last few months before appearing on Good Morning America this week.
He announced that he had been diagnosed with the condition last year.
But he decided that he wouldn’t let the disease get him down as he walked the red carpet with his beloved wife, Sharon.
The couple attended the Pre-Grammy’s Gala along with their daughter Kelly.
The 71-year-old walked with an ornate black cane along with his trademark sunglasses with a black T-shirt, trousers and overcoat.
Both Sharon and Kelly opted for dark outfits for the occasion which honoured Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs for his work in music.
Ozzy spent 2019 in and out of hospital after taking a nasty fall in his bathroom last spring – prompting him to cancel his world tour.
Following that he started experiencing nerve pain and doctors have had a hard time pinpointing whether the fall, the surgery, or his condition were to blame for the pain.
‘It has been terribly challenging for us,’ he said about the last year.
‘I had to have surgery on my neck which screwed all my nerves. I found out that I have a mild form of….’ he said before looking to his wife to finish his sentence.
But he is taking it in his stride now as he attended the star-studded bash ahead of the biggest night in music.
