PlayStation 5 new game ‘Scarlet Nexus’: available to pre-order on Amazon

Scarlet Nexus is now available for pre-order on Amazon. This is the first PlayStation 5 to be on sale. It will be released in 2021.

It is now possible to buy a pre-order of Scarlet Nexus on Amazon for the PlayStation 5 even if the console doesn't have an exact release date yet.

Introducing Scarlet Nexus

Last May 7, Microsoft released gameplay trailers for their Xbox Series X games. One of the games revealed in the event is Scarlet Nexus. The new RPG game is an action-filled masterpiece made by gaming giant Bandai Namco Studios. In the game, players fight against monsters using a fusion of deadly weapons and mystic powers. However, The Xbox Series X event was faced with controversy because of not so pleasing graphics. Scarlet Nexus was filled with skepticism because its visuals aren't what the fans are expecting for the upcoming next-gen console.

Availability

A few days after, Scarlet Nexus was announced to also be coming to the PlayStation 5. It is also necessary to point out the game will also be released for Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The new game will be one of the few which will utilize the Smart Delivery feature on Xbox consoles. This means people who bought the game on Xbox One will also own it on the Xbox Series X. The PlayStation 5 is set to be released before the year ends but Sony hasn't announced a specific release date yet. However, this didn't stop Amazon from starting to sell new games for the PlayStation 5. Amazon has now allowed the purchasing of pre-orders for Scarlet Nexus' PlayStation 5 version. The game is currently priced at $59.99 (85 AUD) and has a December 31, 2021, temporary release date. This is commonly the date provided to all games with a lax 2021 release window. Players can also buy the other console versions of Scarlet Nexus on the same product page.

Uncertain release dates

A recently scheduled PlayStation 5 event was postponed because of the Black Lives Matter protests. The release date for the console was probably supposed to be revealed in the event. However, real issues have plagued all planned events into uncertainty. With this in mind, Amazon might have jumped the gun by granting pre-orders even if there is little known about the PlayStation 5. There are rumors that the PlayStation 5 might be delayed. However, fans can still play Scarlet Nexus when it will be released on the other consoles – as long as the game will not be delayed as well.
