Staying at home in this COVID-19 pandemic applies to everyone including stars such as Taylor Swift and JoJo.
The world of glamor and fun has followed Taylor Swift for many years. The height of her career has brought her to a world full of people. Even JoJo has felt the same way. However, COVID-19 has crippled their daily routine as stars when everyone was told to stay home.
Life with COVID-19
With the rest of the world at home, everyone is finding ways to keep themselves entertained. For Taylor Swift, she has found the time to know about the people that came to her show and even her concerts.
For one, she was able to find out that one of the nurses that volunteered in New York was actually in one of her shows. Her name was Whitney Hilton. She’s a nurse with McKay-Dee Hospital in Utah. According to Swift,
“I saw the photo of you from my show! Thank you for coming! I would love to give you a hug next time and thank you in person. With love and admiration.
It appears that Hilton was thousands of miles away from home but she travelled to volunteer during the COVID-19 outbreak. Her efforts did not miss Taylor Swift’s attention. Her kind gesture was awarded by the artist.
Taylor gave her presents and said,
“I wanted to send you some presents and to let you know I am so grateful for you. I can’t thank you enough for risking your life to help people and for spreading the message loudly that people need to hear about taking this seriously.”
As for Hilton, she knows that New York was hit “hard” and even stated that on her post that,
“The people need help, the nurses need help, the doctors need help, everyone needs help.”
Taylor Swift’s connection with JoJo
The world indeed is a roller coaster ride. While Taylor Swift was busy thanking Hilton, one of the artists also revealed her gratefulness to Swift. According to reports, JoJo revealed that she received help from Taylor during her legal conflict with her former record label.
“A few years ago, Taylor had me over her house, actually. She was just like, ‘I can’t believe everything you’re going through. This is so f–ked up, so wrong, blah, blah, blah,'” the pop And of course, she couldn’t have ever known that she would go through something similar where her catalog was bought from her.”
With the COVID-19 pandemic, people have more time to share things and to find ways to reconnect again. For Taylor Swift and JoJo, their lives might be different, but these stars were able to relay their gratefulness in a time where it is needed the most.
